Description:

Context:
In 1969, as part of the research on loom textiles, Oreste Plath (director 1968-1973), accompanied by Manuel Miranda, researcher, and Juan Ávila, butler, both workers in the museum, visited and interviewed wavers Trinidad Cortés and René Carrasco in Valdivia of Paine. They told them about their colleague’s work and the state of textile production and sale. Also, Plath carried on the Folk Art seminary of his predecessor, making field trips in some places in Chile.
