Photograph in rectangular format and horizontal layout. In a medium shot, Allan Muñoz, artist and ad-honorem curator, and Julio Tobar, director, are holding a big piece of organic material not part of the current collection. The object is standing on the table by one of its sides, where two basket-making items are part of a Bolivian basket and a Peruvian handbag. Besides, two silver mates are part of the Platería Mapuche collection. At the back, the artist Francisco Araneda is looking them from his desk.
Context:
From 1981 to 1982, objects were restored and filed due to the damaged condition they were found in the former MAPA headquarter in Castillo Hidalgo (1944-1981). Also, different exhibitions of the Platería Mapuche (Mapuche silver-smithing) collection and other collections were made, including the Peruvian collection.
