Photograph in rectangular format and horizontal layout. In a medium shot, Allan Muñoz, artist and ad-honorem curator, is sitting retouching the painting El barco (The Ship) with a paintbrush. Context:
Paintings over tin underwent a restoration process at MAC Parque Forestal (MAPA headquarter 1981-1997) in 1981 due to the damaged condition found in the former MAPA headquarter in Castillo Hidalgo (1944-1981). This collection has a series of paintings made by famous painters from different origins and foundations. Among them is Victor Inostroza, known as “the sailor”, who painted El Barco (The Ship) in 1950. Furthermore, these photos are part of the project of Julio Tobar (director 1981-1995) to extend the MAPA files.
