Context:
The photo was obtained from a correspondence sent by Baltazar Hernández Romero to Tomás Lago, who bought a couple of spurs from the artisan. During Tomás Lago and Oreste Plath’s direction, communication between intellectual authorities from different Chilean places and authorities abroad was made through correspondence, in which photos of famous artisans from different areas were attached. Also, there were made trips that allowed them to capture famous artisans with their works, get recordings, and improve the museum’s photographic heritage.
