Context:
Due to the move made from the Museo de Arte Popular Americano (MAPA) to the Universidad de Chile’s Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (MAC) in 1981, exhibitions had to turn into itinerant exhibitions, and where in places such as O’Higgins Park, the chief magistrate lodge, and Kilip multi-library room. In the latter, Filemón Gonzalez, an artisan, exhibited Tallados en Madera (Wood Carving) in 1986.
